How to start MPSC UPSC exam preparation from class 11?

How to start MPSC UPSC exam preparation from class 11?

If you are in 11th, don’t need to be stressed for preparation. UPSC preparation is long and exhaust journey. But if you are thinking since 11th class then nothing is better than that. Your 6–10 course will be in mind.

For the Civil Services Examination, first of all, after your 12th studies, you should take this decision that you have to go to the Civil Services. It takes at least 2 to 3 years to prepare for Civil Services. You should start preparing for it from the days of your graduation. Start preparing for this exam by studying NCERT books. Apart from this, keep the complete syllabus of the Civil Services Examination with you and prepare accordingly. Most of the candidates choose the subject for the main stage of the examination from only one subject of their graduation. This makes you easy because you study this subject for three whole years with graduation. Apart from this, for other selected optional subjects, you can choose study material or you can take expert advice.

Prepare for contemporary issues like this-

To prepare for current affairs, you should study newspapers regularly. For example, apart from The Hindu, Indian Express, definitely watch the bulletins of BBC and DD News. Previous year's preliminary question papers also have a good proportion of questions related to current affairs, so it is important to keep preparing for current affairs. Apart from this, you can also take the help of books for contemporary issues. For this, if you want, you can read the books of NCERT and NIOS, these books are available online for free.

Keep these things in mind while choosing the subjects-

The study of the subject is the most important thing in the Civil Services Examination, therefore, while choosing the subject, keep in mind whether you are interested in that subject or not. Although no subject is impossible to study, but still it is beneficial for you to choose the subject in which you are interested. Due to the huge syllabus of Civil Services Exam, one has to study throughout the year. Therefore, it is necessary to study throughout the year while going according to the plan.

Concentration is necessary for studies-

To crack the Civil Services Examination, it is important that you stay focused towards your goal. Because civil services exam is not a banking or SSC exam, in which success is achieved by memorizing. That's why you have to make sacrifices for the preparation of this exam, without this you can't do anything in this exam. You will have to give two to three years for civil service. You have to study regularly every day in these years.

How much reading is necessary-

Although one year is enough for civil services exam, but people take two to three years also. It depends on the ability of different people, how much they can study. Therefore it is necessary to study daily for at least 6 hours every day. Many times it happens that you get demotivated while preparing, so read motivational books. How people live around you has a great impact on your life. If there are negative people living around you, then try to stay away from such people as much as possible. Be with people who make you feel good.

If you are studying with stream other than ARTS then you will have to also study Arts subjects of similar class simultaneously.If you are in 11th , read NCERT / Tamilnadu books if possible take lectures ( so many platforms , teachers are available ), but strict only to 11th course ( all subjects- History, Geography, Polity, Environment, Economy ). Same do in 12th class and in Graduation (if you are taking Arts in Graduation that would be better).you should not much worried for exam but you should enjoy the journey till you are appearing that year.
