पीएफआई PFI का Full Form : Popular Front of India (पॉपुलर फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया) होता है. द पॉपुलर फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया (PFI) भारत में एक चरमपंथी इस्लामिक संगठन है, जिसे 2006 में नेशनल डेवलपमेंट फ्रंट (NDF) के उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में बनाया गया था, और अक्सर भारत सरकार द्वारा राष्ट्र-विरोधी और असामाजिक गतिविधियों में शामिल होने का आरोप लगाया जाता रहा है। इसने राष्ट्रीय विकास मोर्चा, मनिथा नीति पसाराई, कर्नाटक फोरम फॉर डिग्निटी और अन्य संगठनों के साथ विलय करके एक बहु-राज्य आयाम प्राप्त किया। पीएफआई खुद को एक नव-सामाजिक आंदोलन के रूप में वर्णित करता है जो लोगों को न्याय, स्वतंत्रता और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सशक्त बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। राष्ट्रीय महिला मोर्चा और कैंपस फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया सहित समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों को पूरा करने के लिए संगठन के पास विभिन्न विंग हैं।

The Popular Front of India (PFI) is an extremist and Islamic fundamentalist organization in India, formed in 2006 as the successor of the National Development Front (NDF). Acquired a multi-state dimension by merging with other organizations. PFI describes itself as a neo-social movement committed to empowering people to ensure justice, freedom and security. It is raising the voice of fanatical Muslims and protecting the country from wrong policies of the government. The organization has various wings to cater to different sections of the society including Rashtriya Mahila Morcha and Campus Front of India.

The PFI faces various charges with links to various Islamic terrorist groups, arms possession, kidnapping, murder, intimidation, hate campaigns, rioting, love jihad and various acts of religious extremism. In 2010, the PFI was accused of having links with the banned Islamic terrorist organization Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). PFI national president Abdul Rehman was SIMI's former national secretary, while the organization's state secretary Abdul Hameed was SIMI's former state secretary. Most of the former SIMI leaders were either identified with the PFI or were placed in various departments in the organisation. Retired Indian Army officer P. C. Katoch has claimed that PFI maintains links with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.
